It’s been almost a year since adidas first gave us a preview of their Boost technology, an advancement that promised to give runners extra cushion but keep things lightweight enough to maintain a return in energy with each step. Now adidas continues to impress as we get a glimpse at the lifestyle tendencies of the Adidas Pure Boost Easy Coral fashion. The release is exclusive to strictly adidas and Foot Locker and now the Euro branch has them available today in six new monochromatic colorways ranging from a black, solar red, solar blue, and a women’s pair that gets a “Jersey” look to imitate a comfortable cotton t-shirt.
Colorfully inclined Japanese fashion label kolor teams up with adidas once again for more striking makeovers to performance models. You may remember them best for their multicolored edition of the Ultra Boost last year, and now they’re back with the Pureboost ZG and another Ultra Boost in similar looks. With the same bright orange, lime, and purple accents of their original Ultra Boost, the new Adidas Pure Boost Linen Comfort by kolor adds some polka dots into the mix for a fun and stylish take on the soft and comfy runner. The new Ultra Boost also gets polka dots, but switches to a darker look in black Primeknit with neon green cages, orange tongues, and purple and teal heel counters.
When the Adidas Pure Boost Collegiate Navy Supplier technology debuted last year it was touted as a breakthrough on the performance side of things. The lightweight foam treatment that ran along the bottom of the new shoes in question promised a maximum return on energy, and in turn the possibility of a faster run for whoever was lucky enough to be springing around in them. And when the marathon times and testimonials came in, the Boost’s status as a true performer was cemented. But just because Boost started out in that category doesn’t mean it should stay there forever.
Just introduced early this month was the new Adidas Pure Boost Chalk high quality Prime, which we now see is also receiving a style-minded re-interpretation from the Y-3 imprint. Also built in Primeknit, Yohji Yamamoto’s take on the silhouette features just a few differences than the initial ZG, including a modified leather tongue, a more streamlined heel counter, and side stripes also in leather. This colorway opts for a high contrast black and white look, sure to please fans of the popular “Oreo” sneaker motif. The Pure Boost ZG Knit is arriving now at Y-3 stockists internationally, and should hit the States soon.
All boost everything. adidas’ running and Originals imprints have fallen in love with the unique cushion system, and two of the brand’s most notorious models in the Ultra Boost and Yeezy 350 Boost featured the tech to help you fall in love with the advancement last year too. The latest silhouette to utilize the base is this women’s exclusive Adidas Pure Boost Clear Brown for sale. The construction stands out from the norm thanks to a combination of mesh, neoprene, and a Primeknit mudguard. Translucent overlays of ventilated mesh help support while two colorways will definitely turn heads. |
