Are you looking for a comfortable, stylish and inexpensive pair of kicks that you can wear pretty much with anything? Well look no further because this new Air Max 1 fits that description perfectly. This isn’t just your ordinary nike air max 1 dames though, this is the Ultra Essential silhouette which means that it’s lighter thanks to the altered outsole and the new materials used on the upper. As you can see by looking at these on-feet shots above this is another take on the triple black colorway that we’ve been seeing a lot the last couple of years.
One of the more overlooked features in the Nike Air Max 1‘s release history was the mini-Swoosh that landed on the mudguard for a few consecutive years. Traditionalists and retro collectors will rejoice over the fact that the feature is making a comeback in 2016, first with the Nike Air Max 1 “The 6” and now with these two monochromatic offerings. Safari Print plays a major role in this duo, as the famed Tinker Hatfield aesthetic lands on the mudguard in either a Pure Platinum on White or a Black on Black.
The Nike Air Max 1 Jacquard released not very long ago but Nike hasn’t released that many colorways of the classic runner with upgraded materials. With 2016 just getting underway Nike has decided to bring back the silhouette in what will be a minimum of two new colorways. The first option comes with black and white jacquard on the majority of the upper with black leather hitting the side panels, heel and eyestay. This pair is then finished off with a white midsole, black outsole and black inner liner. The second option goes for an almost tonal look as white and light grey combine on the jacquard upper with light grey paneling on the side panels, heel and eyestay. A light grey inner liner, white midsole and black outsole complete the look on this colorway.
We got a preview of an upcoming nike air max 1 colorway to honor Japan’s annual Hanami festival to celebrate the beauty of cherry blossoms. The women’s exclusive featured a clean white base while a watercolor-esque array of pink and blue hues created a unique cherry blossom print perfect for the upcoming Spring season. Now Nike Sportswear is expanding the aesthetic to three classic silhouettes in the Nike Roshe Run, the Nike Classic Cortez, and the Nike Toki. The Roshe focuses on the realistic graphic while the Swoosh branding on the side panel is barely noticeable thanks to a translucent tape-like construction. It’s a unique look that’s as clean as it is head-turning. The Toki and Classic Cortez follow suit with similar color choices in honor of late March’s Hanami festivities.
